Will Larter left this review about The Tithe

This would be my pub of choice if only time for one in Northallerton. It's an interesting, slightly quirky building with the bar counter displaying six hand pumps in an enticing way. I was here a couple of days after the news of the demise of Great Heck brewery, and hoped to find one of their beers still on, as in the past. No such luck, though there was one in the cellar waiting to come on. The young lass who served me said what a shame it was, as their beers were always popular here and were frequently on the bar. I consoled myself with a very good Tapped Broon Toon, brewed in Sheffield.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Tithe

Quite pricey in here compared to the rest of town, averaging around £4 a pint. Still it had the best choice of beers across six handpumps. I went for the Bristol Beer Factory Notorious, which was fab, along with Rooster's Baby Faced Assassin. The interior had a small room on the right of the entrance, which was cut off from the main bar and lounge on the left. This was handy if you wanted a bit of piece and quiet. The main bar was facing you on the right, as you walked into the main room and the handpumps were positioned directly in front of you, which was good planning. The décor was cream walls with a collection of pleasing looking pictures and the woodwork was in a dark blue. Definitely one of the best bars in town.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Tithe Bar

Appealing-looking place owned by Market Towns Taverns, although rather more modern in appearance inside the three small seating / dining areas than one might expect. Light twin-tone paintwork offsetting the mix of darker furniture (including some church pews). Six real ales on handpump, with Christopher and Citra (£3.45) from Great Heck amongst the offerings.
