I would have scored this pub slightly higher if it wasn't for their high prices. A pint of Ilkley Mary Jane at 3.5% cost £3.75. The barman told us that this was a M+B pub and he agreed prices were steep. The pub was busy on our Saturday afternoon visit, all of which were families having a bite to eat. The atmosphere from the customers in here was stiff and 'look at me'. The interior of the pub is modern with painted walls and feature walls made up from cross sections of sawn up tree trunks. The bar counter was solid oak, with a rolled brass decorative front, plus a brass hand rail. The front of the bar area was clad with reclaimed pine. There was also a central column with an open log fire. There was also a lounge upstairs, most probably with another dining area.
