Another backstreet Peel pub that I visited for the first time last week. This is a warm and cosy pub with seating in a small front bar area and in another room to the side and up a couple of steps.
Food looked quite good and in hindsight we should have eaten here, rather than the Creek Inn. But we stuck with just drinks. Okell's Bitter is the regular ale. I chose the guest beer, which was also local - Kaneen's Lhune Ruy, which was an enjoyable malty bitter. No CAMRA discount was offered. Although, Whatpub seems to suggest it is available.
Another decent Peel pub.
