The Woolly Sheep is a Tim Taylors pub offering an extensive range of their ales across the seven hand pulls.
There is a small room to the front which is more pub-like, with a real fire going at the time of my visit. Leading off this is a corridor with access to the bar and some seating opposite. Behind this is a dining room and there is also a further room diagonally to the right which is offered for dining and functions. A beer garden is advertised (not investigated). The pub offers accommodation. Wi-Fi is available but it is the type where you have to register.
My half of Golden Best set me back £2.25 or so and was nice enough. The pub was pretty busy on my Wednesday afternoon visit. There is definitely a food emphasis with "wait here to be seated" signs once you get beyond the bar area. It was nice enough to visit once but can't see me rushing back for just a drink because it does feel very foody.

A Timothy Taylor tied house in a narrow ,old building which runs through several sections to the rear and shows lots of evidence of the buildings age.The front section is dog friendly, popular with locals and has a small servery with a few handpumps but you must move to the next section to see the full ale range in the tap room.Beyond that up a step is the wait to be seated dining area leading in turn to a raised beer garden looking smart.
On my trip there was TT Boltmaker,Golden Best,Dark Mild,Landlord,Knowle Spring,Landlord Dark (NBSS 4) and Artesian ,a collaberation with Thornbridge featuring elderflower and gooseberries in a pale ale.
e pub filled up as the afternoon wore on ,which quickly produced an atmosphere in what is a modest interior.I really enjoyed my trip and cant understand how it doesn't feature in the 2024 GBG.This close to the brewery ,it acts as a very good brewery tap for the fine TT ale range. One not to miss in Skipton.

A decent pub and its very friendly with Timothy Taylor beers. As you enter you have a small bar area and a staircase (which you can't climb. At least not on this Saturday afternoon). To the rear the pub stretches out. Tim Taylor beer range available.
