The Hop n Grapes has reopened at some point since being marked as closed in March 2009. The interior is made up by an island bar with some more seating to the rear where two dartboards can be found. There is a pool table to the right of the bar and a plasma screen in the front bar area. This was off during my recent week night visit and I didn’t notice any Sky Sports signs. There was some eighties background music and the two other locals were friendly enough after interrogating me after I took a picture of the exterior. Upstairs is a smoking area and access to the toilets.
The bar is stocked with standard draught and unfortunately all six hand pumps were unused. Pub food is available, but I didn’t see any menus or kitchen opening times.

A quiet daytime pub with a wonderful beer garden out the back. There is draft Bass which is drinkable, however this pub becomes a fun pub in the evening.
