It's obvious when you enter that this used to be a workingmans style club. There's a well used dartboard where the ladies darts team were playing in a league match along with a very well used pool table. It's a comfortable enough little place with loads of trophies on display. Three handpumps on the bar but only two on. Rather disappointingly for a GBG entry these were JS Cask & Theakstons Coopers Butt. I had a pint of the Coopers which was OK if not really top notch. I doubt that we'll bother calling in again.
