After many name changes and style, this pub is currently the Harrogate Arms. It's currently in one of its better guises. although still not great. It majors on sport and also has a couple of pool tables. It's a bit generic and I doubt that this will become a regular haunt as thee are many better pubs in Harrogate.

Reopened under yet another name, old customers will recognise the basic layout, furniture, the tiled & board floor and even some of the decor. Eight hand pumps serve mostly Yorkshire beers, Taylor's, Ossett, and York are represented along with old Rosie cider, there's also 12 keg taps of national brands. On the upper level of the three there are two pool tables, the botanical prints are still there but with extraordinary lighting over pool tables and indeed elsewhere, they may have used up most of the Edison bulbs in Harrogate. The lager tanks remain in situ but the pipework has gone, there's piped music, some big screens, and games machines. The food comes from well known Harrogate company Banger Bros - comprising burgers, hotdogs, sausages, 4 varieties of bangers & mash, including vegetarian options, all for under a tenner, usually well under. Tables are numbered with pub game themed beer mat shaped indicators rather than the usual inset brass discs.

Old Boots left this review about 11 Somerset House

The latest Harrogate venue to up its game, it's had a relatively tasteful makeover making it a bit nicer than some of its more recent ones, I've lost count of how many. There are still four hand pumps serving Timothy Taylors Landlord, Roosters Yankee, Saltaire Blonde and Ilkley Mary Jane, my Mary Jane was a touch stale during an evening visit. The bar is dominated by a tank of the Czech lager Krusovice with a pipe going from there to the bar counter, none of the usual UK national kegs were visible on the groups of keg taps. The bar is decorated in some traditional wood work and brass, local interest photos, a bit of grey woodwork and some rougher boards from before. At the back is a raised rear area laid out as a more formal dining area and decorated with plant pictures.
