This is set just behind a large theatre in Bradford and the for sale sign outside confirms that they want to offload it. I arrived here on a Tuesday evening and it was fairly quiet. It's been well described below and looking up to see how the stove chimney travels to the highest point of the building made me feel quite giddy. One thing that has been missed provides me with the chance to bid for the most useless JDW fact ever in that the wallpaper and lower placed light fittings here are identical to those used in the London White Swan near Highbury and Islington station.
The bar here has two sets of five hand pumps which had the JDW Trio Of Doom with the GK beers doubled up, Caledonian Thunder Trail, Bosun's Bermuda Triangle, Green Jack Lurcher Stout, Acorn Gorlovka and Copper Dragon Best. I went for the Gorlovka (£2.45) which was excellent.
I much preferred this place to the Bradford Lloyds but suspect it's not in as prominent a location. The rock bottom prices of the Steak and Curry clubs (£5.99 and £5.85) may be an indication that it's not doing as well as it might.

I much preferred it here to the Lloyds down the road. I especially liked the cast iron pillars and balcony supports which were original and were cast with some fine detail. Another feature was the central fireplace with tall steel chimney up to the roof. Evan Evan Cennen was our beer choice.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Sir Titus Salt (JD Wetherspoon)
Traditional stone frontage, but much more modern inside with a feature circular fireplace and tall,thin chimney in the middle of the central atrium. Balcony upstairs. Admitedly I went in a a fairly quiet time, but I received efficient service at the bar and prompt delivery of my food order. All 10 handpumps in operation, and my pint of Old Bear Honeypot (£2.09) was in good form. Overall, not a bad example of a 'spoons. (NB - Review dates from December 2012.)
