Stone built locals pub not far from the central crossroads. Presumably once two separate buildings there are now three distinct areas inside each with screens, machines and a pool table in the middle space. The counter runs along the back wall equipped with its two horseshoe keggeries plus a clutch of solos and a cider trio. Nothing made my heart race so had a knock off latin lager. The end spaces have banquette seating and there’s a little high seating if you prefer. The atmosphere was mostly a sedate middle aged slightly sweary working bloke one on a late afternoon visit, the juke box was untroubled as they were watching cricket and chatting.

I didn't mind this place. Real ale was available when I was in and the place was friendly enough. Not that there were many in on my afternoon visit.

Yes sadly no hand pull nice pub looks as if it trades well all ways a good few in will call in regular when we move there.
Landlord nice and friendly told he once played for Manchester city
