Open at 11:30am, apart from Bank Holidays when its 12pm. We arrive at 11:20am on the Summer Bank Holiday!
Forced to return once the walk was over.
Very popular with good food. Three real ales on and the barman helped me choose a Prescott Hill Climb. Superb Condition.
Great example of a country pub.

Hard-to-find place nestled on the side of a narrow valley. Quite tight inside with separate dining rooms off the centre. However, it appeared that every last table was reserved and all drinkers were either outside the front or in the attractive rear sloped garden overlooked by mature woodland that affords a rather pleasant view. So is it really a pub at all? Four pumps featuring Tribute, Butcombe Gold (not great), Prescott Hill Climb and Gert Lush cider. One of those places that you enter with high hopes which are unfortunately deflated.

A classic Cotswold pub, in a classic Cotswold village. The recently extended eating area, has made this a good pub and restaurant without too much congestion, even at busy times. All ales in perfect condition on my last few visits. Highly recommended.
