When I walked into this pub I was surprised to find that the front, narrow room was set out as a restaurant. The bar is straight facing you as you enter from this side. There's also a rear room which had a pool table, dartboard, jukebox and a massive TV screen showing sport. A few steps up at the rear leads to a beer terrace. 2 handpumps, but the only beer available was Hobgoblin. It's not one of my favourite beers and I just didn't fancy a pint of it as the weather was scorching and I'd just walked up a steep hill from the station, so I had a Fosters. It's a pleasant enough pub.
