A relatively business-like pub set in between the two halves of Victoria Coach Station so you can guess at the transient clientele. The one long room is fairly dark with traditional furnishings. There are also a few tables out the front where you can watch your coach depart without you. On handpump were TT Landlord, GK IPA and Old Golden Hen, with a selection of boxed Lilley's ciders also. Not really worth a visit unless travelling by coach or meeting someone who is.

Once the Bricklayers Arms, rebuilt in 1939 with the current name applied in the 1970s and now a Greene King outlet, with all the baggage that entails. It's described on the website as being a 'Waterside Pub' - really??? Multiple screens showing the footie, boxing and rugby simultaneously even though no one was watching, customers being almost exclusively foreign tourists and a noisily gurgling baby; the interior can be gleaned from my photo.
The only plus point here is that GK beers (IPA and London Glory) were outnumbered by guests: Tribute, Sambrook's Junction and Twickenham's Naked Ladies at £2.85 a half and ok.
This is not good by GK standards, but it's better than the awful Shakespeare and terrible Victoria, so we must be grateful for small mercies.

The Travellers Tavern is very handy for Victoria coach station,so i have been in quite a few times for a quick half rater than waiting on the very depressing coach station.
Once inside there is a single oblong shaped room which runs to the rear, the bar is on the left side, there is a small raised area to the front left, the seating is mainly normal tables and chairs.
There are normally three real ales on the bar,on my most recent visit i had a drink of Black Sheep bitter which was a decent drink.
The pub was packed with most in the same boat as me waiting for a bus home.
