Finns advertises itself as Weymouth’s premier live music pub so I wasn’t surprised to find a dimly light and slightly grubby interior with lots of music posters on the walls. There is also a lot of American memorabilia and the jukebox was playing random songs which included the Doors and Nirvana. I doubt that there are any modern dance cd’s in their collection. There are a couple of plasma screens that were showing muted Olympic coverage and there is a pool table and three dartboards that are found either side of this U shaped pub. There is also a stage area to the left of the pub where the bands obviously set up.
The barmaid was friendly enough, but the few other punters in attendance weren’t the friendliest bunch. I think that they were wondering why a nosy bloke wearing white Reebok Classics had walked in to their pub!
I’m not a big fan of live music venues so I see no reason why I would return here if I ever found myself in Weymouth again.

This pub is in Weymouths main shopping area and it has got a daft irish name,but once inside the pub is a lot better than the name suggests.
There is one largish room that has bare boards and wooden furniture there are different drinking areas and two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Bass which was nice enough the other beer was Flowers IPA.
The pub lets children during the day and i think it was a decent place to have a couple of drinks.
