A mixture of office workers and tourists made this a busy spot, with the bar staff seeming to have absorbed the stress that the workers had come here to relieve, and the piles of glasses waiting their turn in the washer can't have helped. The blackboard promised "New! Bombardier 4.1%" but instead I had a choice of Wells Eagle IPA and a rugby themed special from Flying Monk, which was in good condition. The main interest for me was the series of booths, wood panelled, in a sort of corridor along the front on the pub, labelled "Trap 1", Trap 2", and so on, as though half a dozen greyhounds were about to be let loose from them. No such excitement occurred however. Speaking of excitement, a group of photographs of scantily clad Edwardian women attracted my attention, so I wouldn't mind returning next time I'm in the area.

a characterless central London pub. the David Hasselhoff picture was behind my head and it was probably the most interesting thing about the place, two dull real ales were available. Wham on the speakers and highly irritating Canadian tourists talking utter bollocks next to me hardly helped my mood in here.

Once the Old Parr's Head and later the Horns, and not a talking, self-driving car in sight. There is an autographed picture of David Hassellhof behind the bar, all explained by this pub's location on historic Knightrider Street.
A dreary pub which one could mistake for some sort of conversion in a modern office building; a characterless tourist magnet situated between the Millennium Bridge and St. Paul's Cathedral. Lots of pale wood with settle booths and conventional furniture and a modern bare boarded floor. Muted funk music played on the gramophone lighting was unusually bright. A modern helical staircase leads down to the loos and more formal dining.
Ales: just Greene King's Abbot and Moreland's Old Golden Hen at £4.20 a pint (incredibly cheap for the area) and ok.
I can't envisage a return visit.
