A sidestreet bar with quite a publike feel to its rather dark interior. Highly decorated patio garden at rear. Sadly no real ale available, or much else worth drinking.

Brainy Pool left this review about Hartleys

I assume it has improved since the previous reviews as I found it quite nice. not really a wine bar, more a Victorian gin palace and quite plush too. it was full of a huge group of old men this afternoon so escaped to the front terrace. One real ale which was their own (rebadged I assume) pale ale at £3,10 a pint, it was fine enough.

Al Bundy left this review about Hartleys

A terrible wine bar. No real ale to be found on this visit. Large inside with a front terrace.
