A former pub earmarked for redevelopment into flats and shops has been left in a dangerous state following an arson attack in Stockport .
An application seeks to demolish the existing building and build three houses, three shops and eight apartments.
But before demolition can take place an historical building survey must be carried out by English Heritage.
