Strongers . left this review about The Peacock

The Peacock is a large roadhouse with Sky and TNT sports heavily advertised out the front. The entrance leads to a lounge bar with tiled flooring around the counter that runs up the left. Carpet covers the floor where some high tables sit in the bar area and at the rear where there are some large tables. At the very rear is access to a patio with picnic tables and an Astroturf area beyond with four huts across the rear. To the left of the lounge is a wood floored public bar with high banquettes in the front windows, a couple of large televisions that were showing muted Sky Sport News while some background music played and also service from the counter that wraps around from the lounge. In the right-hand side of the pub is a carpeted seating area the feels more like a dining area where the pub co. food can be eaten. Standard and premium keg is available from the bars and during a recent quiet Monday afternoon visit two of the four hand pumps were in use drawing Robinson’s Dizzy Blonde and GK IPA. The service was polite, but this pub is a bit of a trek from the city to warrant a revisit.

Large roadhouse containing a Flaming Grill, but does retain something of a pubby feel including a games room. Only one handpump in use but beer was pretty undrinkable.

A harmless Flaming Grill thingy just outside the city centre. You should, by now, know what you're going to get.
