Requested be closed with reason - Gone away: The 200-year-old Bridge Inn at Walton-le-Dale, which has stood empty for months, is to make way for a new childcare centre.

A run-down pub has been demolished to make way for a childcare centre. Plans for the site of the Bridge Inn in Walton-le-Dale, to create a nursery for more than 100 children, were given the go-ahead by South Ribble Council.
And this week machines were in place, tearing down the historic pub in the first stage of the £1m-project.
