Owned by Charles Wells,this pub is very food orientated with seemingly all tables inside laid for service apart from an area below a front window and close to the bar with two chesterfields and a brown sofa called Old Gits Corner.There are wait to be seated signs,the food menu was very substantial pub grub with a Sunday carvery.There is a large beer garden to the rear and to the left of the interior but the decor inside was very corporate and dull.Muzak was mindless but probably chosen by the young staff.
Two ales on my trip Adnams Southwold and St Austell Tribute (NBSS 3) but nothing exciting to justify a return visit just for a drink.

Lovely pub and restaurant. Friendly, welcoming with fantastic food. Good music evenings too. Thanks for the party, everybody had a wonderful time.
