A prime example of M&B's Premium Country Pub chain with the original pub heavily extended and modernised internally beyond all recognition. A rather upmarket, modern feel with shades of cocktail bar and a large bright restaurant area. Outside are a couple of patio areas but the traffic can be intrusive. Despite a heavy emphasis on supposedly quality food, that sampled was pretty average and distinctly overpriced. Ales were the biggest let-down though, with two pumps offering just Doom Bar, the first pint of which was cloudy and undrinkable and the replacement marginally less so on both counts.

Old Blue left this review about The Maybury Inn

Large, modern pub situated on the corner of a busy road junction, with a large bar in the middle, a bar area and outside seating on the junction side, a restaurant area also with outside seating on the quieter side, and a large car park. Lunchtime yesterday there were two ale pumps, one with quite a drinkable Hogsback TEA, the other with a reversed Doombar clip. Aspall's and Harry Sparrow cider and a normal range of keg lagers. Roasts were extremely tasty and generously portioned, though quite expensive, and service was good. Seems fairly popular, and I had a vague sense of this being in some ways an essentially Surrey version of an estate pub (having had a look at the other pub in Maybury I can see why people would prefer this one). This is not really my type of pub at all, but what it does, it does well.
