Very large two room pub, both rooms are much the same in size and appearance apart from one that Rex mentions as the sports/games bar is home to a pool table, juke box and TV screen, Sky Sports is advertised, I didn't note a dartboard but would think one would be present somewhere. Four hand pumps split between the two bars with just three beers on and pretty bland in my view, Courage Best, Doom Bar and London Pride.A pretty average place in my mind and wouldn't go to far out of my way to return.

This is another Byfleet pub with a decent ale choice. They had four real ales on – Theakston’s Black Bull, Courage Best, Doom Bar, and Jennings’ Cumberland Ale. A pint of the Cumberland went down very nicely indeed, at a standard sort of price of £3.20 a pint. They do food at lunchtime at reasonable prices, with sandwiches at £3 - £4 and, as an example, the pub standard of cheeseburger/chips/coleslaw/salad at £6.95.
This is a massive red-brick building that imposes itself on its corner site. One of the signs refers to it as the Blue Anchor Hotel, so I suppose it might provide accommodation. There are two separate bars, clearly signposted on the outside of the building – the sports/games bar on the left, and the lounge bar on the right. I’ve no idea what the sports bar was like as I didn’t bother to visit it, but the lounge bar was very modern in appearance. It was decorated in light pastel shades, and with just a couple of mirrors and prints on the walls it had a very minimalistic look. What looks like an extension at the back on the right is half panelled with modern pine panelling, is furnished with some plastic covered chairs, and has standard wooden tables. There are some sofas on the right of the room by the window. When I was in a handful of regulars were clogging up the small area of the bar counter, and a few other couples, and a small family group, came in for a bite to eat. So, the pub was doing a respectable trade on a Monday lunchtime.
This pub, or at least the lounge bar, has been given the light hotel lounge look. But on the plus side there is a pretty good ale selection, and the food is good and reasonably priced. I wouldn’t mind visiting again if I was in the area.
