Three real ales on in here - London Pride, Old Speckled Hen, and Adnam's Ghost Ship, the latter at £2.70 a half. I didn't bother looking at a menu, but as a Stonegate pub I doubt whether it would be overly exciting.
As you enter the bar counter is on the left, with tall tables and tall stools on the right; further down on the right are a few booths, and still further down are a couple of tables laid out for poker play(!) with a dartboard on one of the walls. Up a few steps is an area with normal tables and chairs, which leads on to an outside drinking area. Written on one of the beams is "We've got the biggest screen in Sutton". I believe them. Something of a sports pub then.
It's not really my sort of pub, but it was doing a healthy trade on a Monday afternoon, which is a good thing. The Ghost Ship was in fine condition as well.

Blandly modernised jack of all trades and master of none pub. On entering I mentally I said to myself “50p says this is Stonegate” and indeed it is. Inside is all whacked-through and thoroughly unmemorable though the parquet flooring is nice. Four cask on from national stagers, my Ghost Ship was lacking vim and died very fast (NBSS 2). Clientele 100% sausage of the Mockney variety. It's right by the station which is in its favour but I doubt I’d see need revisit given the frequency of transport.

Very handy for the station and mot a bad stab at a modern pub from Stonegate. A long one-roomer, with booths facing the bar at the front, darts in the middle and a quieter seating area to the rear with a small terrace outside. A fair selection of ales included a couple of rugby-themed (World Cup period) from Wolfpack and very nice too. I might have caught it at a good time, but I was quite happy here.
