Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Mainwaring Arms
Very attractive country pub that caught my eye from the bus the previous day, so I made a point of stopping on my return journey. It has recently reopened under the new Cheshire Cat ownership, and the various rooms in front of and behind the bar are very well presented in an upmarket way. A terrace beer garden is also available at the back, and that's where most of the customers were on a sunny and warm Saturday afternoon. The 'house' beer selection is better than most too, with a couple from Westwood - Best Bitter (£3.70) and Admiral's IPA - and the Whitmore Gold coming from Salopian, plus Sir Philip from Wincle as a guest.

Bought by Joules a couple of years ago and refurbished in their house style,
Now quite food orientated.
