Alan Winfield left this review about The Horseshoe

The Horseshoe was a smallish bare brick built pub that was situated on a narrow street.
Once inside this pub was fairly basic with a couple of rooms off the main corridor, these rooms were clean but basic.
The pub was a Bass tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Worthington bitter which was on handpump and this was quite a nice drink the other beer was Stones bitter.
I thought this was a decent enough pub to have a few drinks in.
