Roger Button left this review about The Crossways
We were drawn here whilst looking for a pub showing live football. The abundance of screens, decent quality if unadventurous Grrene King beers and reasonable prices should have led to a reasonable enough couple of hours but everything goes out of the window when the customer base contains an element of gobby racists frequently referring to the coloured footballers on screen as black c*nts.
The fact that the management turned a blind eye to such behaviour doesn’t say a great deal for the pub and I would be hard pushed to endorse a visit here unless you are also part of the social underclass. The pub would ordinarily attract a slightly above average rating in my book but with the customer/staff scenario, it doesn’t come close.
