Being adjacent to Wrexham FC’s Racecourse Ground means that the Turf Hotel is obviously a football pub so it wasn’t surprising to see television screens throughout. By the entrance is a pool table and I laughed when I read the small chalkboard up on the wall ‘Hartlepool 0 v Deadpool 1’. The bar counter runs along the right hand wall and at the rear is another pool table. The main body of seating is found along the left hand side separated from the bar by a central wall. There’s a jukebox for when no football is on. Standard keg is available and I found the handful of locals at the bar to be very friendly. I’d pop back in if passing.

A decent pub close to the station. As you'd expect it has lots of Wrexham FC and Wales footy memorabilia on the walls.

As you can see by the picture I have posted the pub is attached to Wrexham football club, it has some very interesting pics of the good old days of the club on the walls etc, nice pint and down to earth staff, 3 mins walk from the wrexham general railway station.
