The old parts of the pub retain their character. The rear "snug" has some interesting old photos and has sideboard where cutlery is stored. The restaurant extension makes most of the extensive views and the two information boards highlighting places in the viewpoints east and west are a nice touch. Only one real ale on Lees Bitter - quality good beer score 3/5 on NBSS scale. Did not try food on this occasion but it seems popular.

we have been here nearly 2 years, finally finished refurbing whole pub,bars and restaurant, looks wonderful. serving traditional homecooked meals every day all day. Serve stunning cask ales. Wonderful views from the restaurant looking over the Dee Estuary. Come take look at our new look public house. Very cosy and lovely atmosphere.
