The Royal Oak is now a Sam Smith's establishment. It no longer serves real ale. Keg options are OBB, Double Four, Dark Mild, Export Stout, Cider Reserve, Sovereign Bitter, Alpine Lager & Taddy Lager.
It has a nice carpeted and traditional interior. There were also several customers sat in one corner, who seemed friendly. However, the usual Sam Smith's regulations to adhere to were posted prominently around the pub, all feeling a little draconian to the casual drinker.
I've never been to Flint before. This may well be the best pub in town. According to Whatpub, you won't find real ale in this town at all!
