David Ross left this review about The Rob Roy Inn

Named, like several pubs in the area, after Scottish hero/outlaw Rob Roy MacGregor, this consists of a cosy street front bar and a smaller lounge leading through to a beer garden at the back. There is also a separate restaurant, accessed via a connecting door from the bar, again looking on to the street. The main bar has a real fire, wooden ceiling beams and comfortable padded seating around the walls, supplemented by stools at tables and at the bar. There is one TV screen and a juke box, although neither was on during my Saturday afternoon visit. A large mural of a kilted, broadsword wielding Highlander above the fire presumably represents the eponymous Rob Roy. A pint of Fosters lager set me back £3.20 and Kronenberg 1664, Caledonian 80 Shilling, John Smith’s Extra Smooth, Strongbow cider and Guinness are also on draught. One of only two pubs in this prosperous rural village, the Inn is currently up for sale.
