Colin Walker left this review about Borestone Bar

This is a Belhaven run pub. The pub sits at the old St Ninian's toll, at the meeting point of the old Glasgow and Edinburgh roads. The place has a very large collection of vintage whiskies that sit three-shelves-deep all around the pub and some of which are worth £350.00p and more at auction - they are purchasable only by the bottle. You have to put in a special offer to Belhaven if you wanted to buy one. There are around 30 malts whiskies available on offer. They have a special whisky menu that gives descriptions of the most popular varieties. In the beers selection Belhaven Best Extra Cold, Export and St Andrews Ale is available. There is a quiz night every Tuesday at 8.30pm and Saturday is Karaoke night from 8.30pm.There is also live music on a Sunday and the SPL football fixtures shown on the five HD televisions. The pub is open Sun-Thu: 11am-12.30am and Fri-Sat: 11am-1.30am. Parking is available across the road at the rear of the shops in Bannockburn Road.
