There is a sign over the front door showing “The Oak Inn Restored 1883 – JH”. The building appears older than that date. The hotel sits on the old Stirling road from Denny to Stirling. The Denny and Dunipace Bridge Club, which was founded in 1955, held it's first meeting in the Hotel, where members still meet today. The place has a very small bar, which appears to be the reception for the hotel. There is a reasonable choice of drinks considering its small size. Well worth a visit just for its old world charm. There is parking to the left of the hotel.for the hotel. There is a reasonable choice of drinks considering its small size. Well worth a visit just for its old world charm.
