The building is now split between the pub and the pizzeria, Franco's. Very quiet at the time of my visit, with a handful of other customers on a Monday evening, and most of them chose to sit in the small patio at the rear. This is a very comfortable lounge bar with red leather banquettes in the bay window and armchairs by the stove in a corner to the left of the bar counter. Some classic rock was playing as background music, with sports TV without sound - I was pleased to see a Leeds Rhinos women's game, though it was only a highlights package. Four hand pumps on the bar with Strathaven Duchess Anne and Born in the Borders Amber available at the time of my visit. It was good to see a couple of Scottish beers on the bar, and the one I had was in good condition.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bridge Inn
Best pub in Peebles, with a great view from the pleasant terrace overlooking the River Tweed. Good range of four Scottish real ales, including a decent Pentland IPA. Also renowned for the fabulous original Twyford Adamant urinals in the gents!
