You have to be right outside to find this pub, tucked away in a narrow street. Entering through a gloomy side corridor, you find yourself in a pleasant no-frills village pub, with perhaps 1990s sort of furnishing in the main room. To the side is a reasonably-sized games room with pool and darts, while there is some sort of outdoor area to the back. Draught beers were Doom Bar and Tribute and condition was fine. A friendly, unpretentious sort of place.
