Rabbie Burns Tavern opened briefly in 1995 after the Alhambra Inn closed. According to sources it was then demolished in 2006 but no sign of flats. It is currently a newsagent called Shop Smart.

According to the reviewer on The Woods pub, The Alhambra Inn and then The Rabbie Burns were on that site long ago at 29 Waterloo Street, not 31. Kudos was the next pub to open before that closed and now The Woods.
