Plain but friendly locals' pub in a back part of town, with a slightly run-down feel. The ceiling reveals there were probably several rooms, but all now knocked through into one which extends back a long way, past a pool table and a music area. There are a few tables and a few car park spaces at the front, with more of each at the back. Food is limited to pasties, but the draught ale in the form of Betty Stogs was very drinkable.
