When I took photos yesterday, I heard that the Garth Inn is going to extend the pub and use the empty shop next door - The Pier Studio - as part of it.

Took a photo 2 February 2013 showing the pub trading. But on 21 April 2013, the pub looked closed down. Can anyone confirm this for me?
