Blue Scrumpy left this review about Brechin Arms

This is Brechin's entry into the 2023 Good Beer Guide and was one of 2 decent ale pubs I found open in the town.

There is a large main bar area with smaller rooms off to the sides. It was busy on my Friday evening visit and it took a while to get served. Luckily bar staff were keeping an eye on who was arriving at the bar and when and served me ahead of a local who was trying to jump the queue.

Stewart's 80/- was the real ale and was probably my favourite beer of the day, in marginally my favourite pub of the day. Whilst it was a bit too busy for my liking, the atmosphere was lively with a good mix of sexes.
