A slight, but not miles, walk from town centre, but worth the minor walk
Two bar areas, one mainly dining, other is more public / local
St Austell brewery draughts on offer, plus Cornish Rattler, all of which were excellent, also has normal tap stuff, lagers & the like
I found the atmosphere very friendly and hospitable, used by locals and as much as I hate the term, this is a "community pub" but outsiders, even Grockles are welcome
Parking could be a problem, free on road, but spaces may be a bit hard to find. I walked from my B & B so had no troubles
Food is available, normal pub grub style & prices, not tried so cannot comment
As the web site shows, also does B & B, but I was elsewhere
Those who hate twiggy decor should avoid, as the ceiling is covered with them {pic to follow], but no, ignore your aesthetic instincts, and go for the beer and general pleasantries
Only possible problems could be parking and food [if wanting more foodie style menu]
I would certainly go back, in fact I did both nights for my two night stay in Lostwithiel
