This old pub consists of a single room that wraps around a central bar. It has a low ceiling, wooden floor and is generally quite dark. There is a small stage area to the immediate left as you enter. Pool and darts are present and a large TV screen was showing a music video channel, probably for the benefit of the friendly young barmaid as I thought it was rubbish.
There is nothing on the real ale front here so I had a pint of Thatchers Gold cider (£3.00).
I can't see any reason to return here.
