The Kings Head is a stand alone pub that looked pretty basic from the outside.
Once inside there is an oblong shaped room to the front with the bar being on the left side, there is a dark lino floor.
There is bench seating and small stools for seating, the TV to the rear was showing cricket England v India.
There is a separate room to the rear which is down a corridor, there is a pool table and darts board in this room.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of keg Courage Best, which was a decent drink, there was a real cider on the bar.
This is quite a basic pub but was quite busy on my Saturday dinner visit.

Popped in here on a Sunday lunchtime with friends. A proper locals pub, clean and tidy with friendly bar staff.
There's a small paved garden to the rear with a canopy for the smokers.
The Courage Best was OK and there's also various cider including my favourite, Moles' Black Rat (made by Thatcher's)
