Modernised town centre pub in the pedestrianised area with one large room sweeping round from sofas at one end to pool tables at the other, which feels a bit like a pub trying to get on 'the circuit'. Although there are a couple of handpumps on the bar, sadly real ale has been discontinued due to lack of turnover and there are now no bitters at all.
