Steve O'Gorman left this review about Mount Pleasant Hotel

First time in my Dad's old watering hole since it reopened a couple of months ago. New owners have spent ages doing it up, and it shows. No major structural changes, but a hell of a lot cleaner than of yore. Toilets completely revamped. Good mixed crowd, average prices, cosy bar and spacious lounge. Pool table, Sky TV, Cloud wifi, woodburning stove in bar (unlit - we may be in Wales, but the sun's out tonight!) I needed a local within walking distance in the rain. This could be it! (Not open afternoons except weekends, though.)
