A long way from the town centre down the causeway road leading an area known as South Beach. The main bar is to the left with a sideways on counter, a T-Bar of national favourites dominates and there’s a solitary unused hand pump. The bar curves round to the right beyond the counter and houses a pool table. The right hand room is seating only. Decor is fairly bland and the furniture modern pine, a mix of banquette, pew and chairs and tables. Pretty much a down to earth pub with a basic but clean hotel above, recently refurbished.
