This is a detached pub with patio area. It is in white render with black paintwork and while being Victorian at least, it is in that square Georgian style, with sash windows. The pub may have once been the South Stack Branch PH, or part of the pub, but it isnt too clear on the historical mapping. The pub has a couple of areas - the games area has pool, darts and a TV (not on), which is in cream and wood. The main part is in red and white. It also has a small stage with a dart board, a TV (footy) and oldish prints on the walls. The music was charty at an OK level. The service was fine and a few locals were in. Beer; no real ale, just the usual keg taps - I had Jenning's smooth bitter, which was fine enough. A nice looking pub but it has nothing for the real ale fan.
