Enjoyed our visit to this Joules pub with a great selection from their beer range. We chose Old No 6 a winter warmer, and Penny Pincher. The inside is sort of open plan layout with separate areas going off it. There is a lovely laid out garden with plenty of seating.

The details on this site are now out of date, the New Inn is now a Joule's Brewery Tap House that has 4 great cask ales on plus a trad cider. The pub has has an extension built and now also serves great quality, locally sourced traditional English classic dishes.

Very traditional old pub multi room with the servery to the side housing three pumps with Jennings Cumberland Ale and Salopian Shropshire Gold as guest, the third stump was blank. The Landlord says he is soon to escape the Enterprise yoke and things will be better beer wise.
The original 18th century pub is now the two front rooms, there is a back room which is part of a later extension once used as private quarters and the servery is across the corridor in the later extension. Modernity is represented by screens and machines in the front rooms, traditionally furnished throughout with tiled and lino floors and it enjoys the benefit of a proper outside lav'
