Will Larter left this review about The White Hart

The box-like structure of this 1960s built, flat-roofed estate pub is unpromising, but inside it's very smart, with dark blue upholstered benches around the walls, and the same material on the small stools and chairs dotted around the carpeted floor. The front room also has a pool table, but at the time of my early evening visit all the action was in the room at the back, where lively conversation was going on and where every new customer through the door immediately headed.

The bar serves both rooms, and there are the usual keg and lager fonts, the only features out of the ordinary being the Stones pump and the recently installed Sam Smiths Sovereign bar top keg box. This is not a Sam Smiths pub, and I can't recall seeing their beer in a pub not their own before. Sovereign is a light copper-coloured bitter with very little flavour; at least, it had no discernible flavour at the temperature it was served to me. I gave it a few minutes to warm up, but it was so cold I could have waited quite a time, so I just supped up, at some danger to fillings and crowns I might add, and went on my way. This looks like a nice enough pub, and if I ever stop drinking real ale and develop a taste for freezing cold keg beers I'll be back.
