Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Globe
Not a bad-looking place with a dark-brick exterior, located part-way up the hill from the station towards the city centre. Rectangular bar with an open side room at the front housing the pool table. Semi-modern furniture but decor somewhat dominated by the large sports TV screens. Also has some small metal tables out on the pavement. Standard Stonegate menu. Three real ales on handpump: Doom Bar, Acorn Barnsley Bitter (£2.75) and Farmer's Blonde from Bradfield.

Not too bad a place by the station. 3 handpumps give a couple of local ales plus a Black Sheep beer. Its a L-shaped place that's nothing special and unless you're picky its worth a pop in.
