The Yorkshire Rose is a decent looking pub that is situated on the really busy leeds road close to a road junction.
Once inside there is a single room which runs the width of the pub with the bar facing, the room looked quite nice being carpeted with comfy bench seating and chairs, the TV was showing sky football score updates.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Moorhouse White Witch which went down well, the other beer was Leeds Pale,a darker or more bitter type beer may have been better on a cold day.
This is a very comfortable pub,the sort of pub to take your wife in for a few drinks.

A wide, open plan room with a central counter the home to a three pull set plus one solitary unused pull at the other end among the standard keg taps. Beers from Tetley plus a couple of guests, Taylors Golden Best and Black Sheep Bitter on my visit. A friendly sort of place it was pretty busy with working and retired male regulars early doors on a Saturday lunchtime, the nearest pubs open at noon the Yorkshire Rose at 11. Décor is traditional with wooden furniture and some modish still lifes. There is a mixer desk in one the left hand end and “live music” is advertised but there was no band name on the poster.
