Real Ale Ray left this review about Waiting Rooms
Five handpumps with three ales on, Saltaire Blonde, Wychwood Hobgoblin, a supposedly good choice for Halloween and the third ale was Doombar. The pub interior was traditional in style and décor, which also included the dreaded electronic gaming machine on the right of the entrance, luckily no one was using it on our visit as the pub is too small.

Looks bigger than it is, unless there are parts I missed. A single room as you enter with the bar to your right. 5 handpumps on the bar and a good selection of real ale on them from local breweries. Its a bare floored place and it was an ok pub. The exterior is still Liverpool City Council Purple. I tried to have a conversation with what was apparently the manager but buggered if I could understand a word he said. Additional: on going to the toilet I noticed that there is a snug and beer yard to the rear so that makes it a 2 roomed pub.

Will Larter left this review about Baht'ap
Shocking to discover the former Prince of Wales in a hideous purple paint job and a ridiculous new name. Even more shocking to be charged £3.70 for two halves of Rudgate Ruby Mild. I remonstrated good-naturedly with the landlord, who kindly pointed out that I was lucky he'd charged me the price of a pint, rather than twice the price of a half. I jocularly suggested that this being Leeds rather than London it was a little surprising to be charged more than £3.50 at all. He countered with the price of Timothy Taylor's Landlord: £4.10. I parried that TTLL was well known as a rip-off and why couldn't he charge prices nearer to the £3 mark, like they do in Sheffield. His mate, apparently also in the licensed trade, chimed in with the diagnosis that low beer prices are the reason why Sheffield is a ghost town. Never having heard the beer capital of England described as a ghost town before, I retired to a stool to lick my wounds and sup my beer, which to be fair was in very good condition. (Note the review below from 2014, when a pint was £2.90 - presumably at a time when Leeds was a ghost town.) We parted on good terms, the landlord saying he looked forward to seeing me in 10 years, me threatening never to darken his door again.
