A large brewers Tudor pub, opened out inside and made multi level at the back. Three pumps on the counter in a back corner two being used, all the national standard kegs are available on 4 T-bars and some solos. Mad old mix of decorating styles and furniture, the owners are probably not sure what it’s meant to be and I guess the students don't mind. The banner outside saying Welcome Back Students gives a clue to the intended demographic (they failed, I wasn't the only oldie). Table numbers are stencilled on not the usual brass inserts. There's a big pull down screen over the counter with a few others here and there, there's a gaming machine and a photo booth plus obligatory music.

The Hyde Park is a large decent looking pub that is set by a busy road junction.
I thought this pub would be a bit quieter after getting a bus and seeing it so i had to do it,but it was not.
Once inside there is a large room on the left side which has normal tables and chairs plus a pool table, the right side has tall tables and chairs.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Elland Chinook which went down very well, the other beer was Doom Bar.
Despite it being so busy,i thought this was a decent pub to end my crawl in.

A third of the way from Headingley to Leeds, and the only reason to pop in here would be if you were doing the Otley Run, in order to slake your thirst. Very rarely do they have an ale on, and if they do, it tends to be cold. A few pool tables and some TV screens dotted about for the sporting action. Bog standard food is also served. This place also has what only the owners could describe as a beer garden - it's an outside seating area yards from one of the busiest junctions between Headingley and Leeds. Across the road from Woodhouse Moor (the Hyde Park of Leeds), so it can come in handy for students needing the loo when they are between barbecuing and fornicating on the park.
